If you have booked a flexible rate, you can amend or cancel your reservation 48 hours prior to arrival. You may do so directly through the reservation platform/agency with which you have booked.
If you have booked a non-refundable rate, the reservation is charged immediately and thus rendered non-refundable or modifiable. You may cancel your booking, but not without incurring 100% of the penalty.
From Central Station
Take the subway line 52 from Central Station to 'Vijzelgracht'. Take exit 'Weteringschans'. It's a 7 minute walk to the Amsterdam Canal Hotel.
From Schiphol Airport
Take one of the trains to Central Station Amsterdam and from there, you take the subway as mentioned above.
Amsterdam Canal Hotels does not offer a shuttle service. The reception is, of course, happy to help you with organizing your transportation.
We serve an extensive breakfast buffet daily. We have time slots and booking is required. Mon - Friday 07:00, 08:00 or 09:00 and on Saturday and Sunday at 08:00, 09:00 & 10:00.
Flexible rate conditions
Free cancellation or rebooking up to 48 hours before arrival. Cannot be changed after check-in. For no-shows, only the first night is charged.
Non refundable rate conditions
Non-changeable, non-refundable, 100% chargeable. These rates are charged immediately upon booking.
Our standard check-in time is 16:00. An earlier check-in is entirely dependant on availability. Would you like a guaranteed early check-in? Then we advise you to reserve the night before your arrival (one extra night) as well.
We do not offer parking at our hotel. You can park your car on the canals based on an hourly rate. Otherwise, we advise you to park your car on the Park and Ride in Amsterdam Noord.
No, pets are not allowed in the hotel rooms.
Our standard check-out time is 10:00 am. Late check-outs are not available to book in advance. Please ask our front office for the possibilities.
As we are housed in an old mansion on the canal belt, we do not have an elevator. Please note that the stairs are quite steep. Our staff can help you carrying your bags to the room. If you have any questions, please contact our staff.
